We don’t just happen to be a synagogue in Music City, we strive to bring music into many aspects of our community and spiritual lives. 

Cantor Dov is leading many new and exciting opportunities to connect soul and song at Sherith Israel. Songwriting workshops are a time to bring experienced and aspiring songwriters together to improve their craft. 

Open Mic Night has been a smash hit, bringing Jewish artists from across Nashville onto the stage at Sherith Israel to share their music with the community. Due to its success, we’ve initiated the all-ages Open Mic Night where kids and adults come to perform. 

The inaugural Nashville JAM Fest (Jewish Art and Music) was spearheaded by Sherith Israel Clergy and Community members and showcased talented musicians from Nashville and across the country, connecting the Nashville Jewish community through Jewish Music.
